1988-1991:  Worked for Rounder Distribution.  Started out working in the warehouse picking orders, data-entry, sales support,  and sales representative for the distribution company.  1991-1995:  Worked as Director of Merchandising for Hear Music Catalog, Retail Stores and kiosks.  Opened 10 stores and 2 kiosks retail locations across the country including Berkeley CA, Santa Monica CA, MI, IL, CT, Washington DC. (1995 Director of Merchandising Planet Music / BORDERS GROUP INC. 1996:  Founded Redeye Distribution Incorporated in Carrboro NC.  Redeye exclusively nationally distributes such Artists as Mars Volta, Public Enemy, Bob Mould, Paul Weller, Sun Kil Moon, Julianna Hatfield, Matthew Sweet.  Labels such as: GSL, Arena Rock, Eenie Meenie, Dirt Nap, Steel Cage, Trailer Records (Greg Brown), Aware Records, Parasol, Undertow, Yep Roc, Virt Records and many more.  Redeye is open with all major national chains & Digital Service Providors for music (Borders, Best Buy, Transworld, Musicland, Tower, Virgin, iTunes, Napster, Rhapsody, MusicNet, SonyConnect, eMusic, etc.), onestops (AEC, Super D, etc.) and key independent stores (Coalition of Independent Music Stores, Music Monitor Network, Association for Independent Music Stores, Newbury Comics, etc.).  We have a field sales staff to cover all major accounts including offices in Chicago, Sacramento, NYC, BostonGraham, NC.  What started out in the basement of Tor Hansen with no external funding is now has a staff of over 40 and sales of over 10 million/year.  Redeye Distribution was awarded NARM (National Association of Record Merchandisers) Distributor of the Year (Small Division) in 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004 & 2005.
