Ms. Musacchia is responsible for helping SAS formulate and represent its public policy views to government officials and handles special projects for Dr. James H. Goodnight, CEO. She also manages the company's relationship with various business associations. Prior to this assignment, she served as general counsel coordinating legal services for the company and its subsidiaries around the world.

Musacchia serves on the Information Technology Association of America Software Division Board of Directors and as Chair of the China Committee; the Board of Trustees of the William R. Kenan, Jr. Institute for Engineering, Technology & Science, the Board of Directors of the NC Information Technology Association, and the Council for Entrepreneurial Development. She served as co-chair of the Global Competitiveness Task Force of Gov. Jim Hunt's Vision 2030: Driving North Carolina's New Economy Through Science & Technology.  

Musacchia is a frequent speaker on high tech industry policy issues and issues affecting the legal profession. She received her JD degree from St. Louis University and her undergraduate degree at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
